Common practice of four counties

Important step toward cave rescuing

On 23th of June, Saturday, at Killer Lake a daylong program was organized for the cave and mountain rescue teams of Bihor, Cluj, Mureș and Harghita counties.

The members of the Mountain Rescue Public Service of Harghita County Council welcomed the cave and mountain rescue specialists from the abovementioned counties in the weekend. In all 50 people were participating in the meeting. Örs Fekete, the director of the Mountain Rescue Public Service of Harghita County Council considered the common practice as being extremely important. As it was asserted by him, organizing this common practice means the first step toward cave rescuing. The Mountain Rescue Public Service of Harghita County Council plans to deal with this type of rescuing as well.
