The Mountain Rescue Service of Harghita County Council once again organized a trip within the program “Let’s wander in Seklerland”, in cooperation with Harghita County Social Assistance and Child Protection Directorate in order to expand the children’s knowledge about the environment. On 6^th of August almost 20 children started a trip for visiting the ‘Harghita Mădăraș’ (Madarasi Hargita) Mountains and ‘Szökő’ waterfall, and during this time they learned the basics of safety mountain rescue and tourist paths and symbols.

Mr. Csaba Borboly, president of Harghita County Council said: “We can’t let young people to break the relation between them and natural environment. It is important to know the natural-cultural treasures our region is endowed with, as well as the historical places’.
